Ley Winds 3Eiill had made it to his bunkroom and back to the hatchway - not, he noticed, the one by which he had originally boarded the ship - in too much plenty of time. He stood there uncomfortably as the other adventurous souls gathered. He smiled ruefully to himself as he realized how many of them he had never met during his weeks on the airship. How big was this thing, anyway? He would have sworn that standing watch had taken him across the entirety of the ship - a ship whose name, despite his best passive efforts, he still did not know.Ley Winds 3
At last everyone was assembled, and they moved out, led

Ley Winds 2Apparently, the airship - did it have a name? He would have to find out - had no room for passengers. Or maybe it was the captain's idea. Eiill had looked on as one after another of the new arrivals was assigned a bunk and a list of chores. As the room cleared, he almost hoped he had been overlooked. Invisibility was beyond him, but a little bit of not being noticed was well within his capabilities.Ley Winds 2

It was a rare trader who could tell even the most preposterous story to any reception other than cheers and another round on somebody else. In fact, it was the true ones that got the worst reception. Truth, they always said, was stranger than your campfire.Ley Winds 1
